Receiver/yard employe

What I liked
Schedule of hours I worked and ability to use machinery like forklift and special order machine.
What I wish was different
We had to work until 11-12pm whenever I worked to close even though I was scheduled to work until 10pm.
Advice
Make as many connections as you can no matter where you work. Even if it’s just at a summer job at a big company, you never know when those connections will pay off.

Management Internship

What I liked
I had the opportunity to manage my department and get a better understanding of what goes on behind the sense of a company that customers don’t see.
What I wish was different
I wish I had the chance to experience the store management as a whole rather than just one department.
Advice
Be prepared to be busy, however it’s a great learning experience.

I wish I would have had a longer opportunity to work for them since I had such a positive experience.
Advice
The job has its moments where you will have to deal with difficult people so be prepared for that.
