- Have access to a workshop with a wide variety of power and hand tools.
- Learn about design, 3D printing, and prototyping.
- Enjoy robotics and other experiential science, tech, and arts programs.

And in that entrepreneurial spirit, we are seeking an intern to help us get the word out as we launch our new Makers Market retail space.
Responsibilities include:
Part I (50 hours):
- Contribute to the initial inventory setup of the nonprofit retail store at AMRoC Fab Lab.
- Audit existing marketing materials and analyze the current local audience to identify immediate promotional opportunities for the makers market.
- Develop an integrated sales and digital marketing plan designed to establish an earned revenue stream for the nonprofit lab.
- Create a promotional content toolkit containing structured media assets, templates, and public relations outreach drafts.
Part II (50 hours):
- Launch a targeted mini-campaign across digital platforms using the newly created assets to drive initial foot traffic to the store.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics and compile sales data into a final project report outlining outcomes and future recommendations.
- Reflect on operational challenges and campaign tracking friction to refine the store's promotional tactics.
- Maintain professional, reliable communication with lab staff and store visitors throughout the execution of the project.
- Deliver a final presentation and handover the completed marketing toolkit to the AMRoC Fab Lab team.
Qualifications:
- Some familiarity with media and marketing tools
- Willingness to learn – we don’t need anyone who thinks they already know it all. We’re looking for someone comfortable making mistakes and applying lessons learned.
- Professionalism, punctuality, patience with processes and a sense of humor
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
