Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities Include:
- Provides support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities to enable them to live valued lives in the community
- Oversees the health and safety of all individuals at all times
- Reports any changes in health or behavioral status immediately
- Implements training, therapy and behavior programs and data collection required by the individuals’ plans
- Assists with ensuring that the home or program offers choice, and creative activities within a positive and innovative environment
- Performs all duties in compliance with state and federal guidelines, agency directives, licensing standards, and policies
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
Required Qualifications:
- Must successfully complete the mandatory Background Check and Drug Screening
- Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds as determined by Physical Exam
- Must possess basic computer skills
- Must possess good oral and written skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
