Retention Specialist
Miami Insurance Brokers is an independent Insurance Agency that does both personal and commercial lines of insurance. We are seeking a Retention Specialist to join our Retention Team. Primary responsibilities include efforts to retain our agency’s book of business by saving/renewing cancelling policies, cross-selling to existing clients, and other department projects related to policy retention.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist with enrollments renewals, cancellations, and service client accounts
- Assist clients with questions they have about their policy or account status
- Collect payment information of clients over the phone
- Meet agency retention goals as established, while maintaining quality standards for all lines of insurance
- Communicate effectively with Sales Agents and other departments in order to retain business
- Re-quote client policies in our online system
- Follow internal processes and procedures to ensure that transactions are handled in accordance with company and agency policies, practices, and guidelines
- Basic data entry in our CRM system
- Additional duties/projects as assigned
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or Equivalent Certification
- 440 Insurance License preferred
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is required
- 2+ years in Customer Service
- 1+ years experience using Microsoft Office, GMAIL or any other technical background
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Prior insurance experience preferred
