The State Water Resources Control Board’s, Division of Financial Assistance, is seeking a motivated Associate Governmental Program Analyst dedicated to being a part of a high performing team where staff, customers, and business partners are respected and valued. The position is located at 1001 I Street, 17th Floor, Sacramento, right in the heart of downtown next to light rail stations, other public transportation, restaurants and more. \
Duties: Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst will be responsible for administratively managing water quality improvement and drinking water access grants which include, but are not limited to: analyzing, processing, and tracking invoices and expenditures; analyzing, developing, and amending funding agreements; developing, enhancing, and maintaining procedures; performing internal audits of project files; interpreting guidelines, regulations and policies to make eligibility decisions and provide guidance to external customers; and collaborating and effectively communicating with external customers, staff, management and legal counsel.
