AI Algorithms Engineer in oneDNN

Job Description
Artificial Intelligence and Analytics team is looking for software development engineer to work in new exciting area of deep learning. In this role you will be responsible for development and maintenance of oneDNN (https://github.com/oneapi-src/oneDNN), a cross-platform open source performance library providing highly vectorized and threaded building blocks for deep learning applications. The scope of work includes development of new features and algorithms optimized for Intel processors, Intel Graphics Products, performance optimizations for current and future Intel hardware, including assembly level programming and development of hardware specific parallel algorithms. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • The Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree or PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or any other relevant field.
  • 1+ year experience or equivalent coursework in the following areas:
- Mathematics such as linear algebra solvers, matrix-vector operations and/or Fast Fourier Transforms
- Algorithms and data structures
- C and C++
- Software development on Linux
 
Bachelor's applicants must be U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Low level optimizations for Intel Architecture, OpenCL, SYCL/DPC++, C for Metal or CUDA experience.
  • Parallel algorithms development and vectorization.
  • Machine learning and deep learning algorithms.
  • Working in Agile software development.
  • Experience with Intel development tool.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
