2023 Summer Intern - Product & Underwriting - Pricing (Fully Remote)
Where you’ll work:
Our hybrid workplace model offers employees the freedom to work fully remote or occasionally in one of our offices. All internships will be fully remote.
How you’ll contribute:
As a Data Analyst Intern, you’ll be contributing to the on-going effort of streamlining data extraction, manipulation, and visualization to support our business partners by delivering timely and accurate data analysis.
In this role, you’ll get to:
· Analyze and enrich data using Alteryx, Power BI and querying tools
· Complete ad hoc requests
· Provide insight through data extraction, manipulation, and visualization
· Create dashboards that deliver a story
· Decrease manual involvement through development of automated processes
We’re looking for people who:
· Are Sophomores or Juniors studying math, statistics, computer science, or other relevant undergraduate degrees. Seniors planning to attend grad school are also eligible.
· Have previous exposure to querying or statistical languages (e.g., SQL, python)
· Is detail oriented with a willingness to understand data source and ensure integrity
· Can work independently
· Technical Skills: proficient in Excel and strong understanding of data modeling
What you expect from an internship with Brighthouse Financial:
· $23/hour pay; 40 hour work weeks (with the exception of holiday weeks)
· 10-week summer program: 5/30/2023 to 8/4/2023
